American Bulldog (short coat) Dog

Roscoe the Dog needs a home

Meet Roscoe! This AMAZING boy was abandoned about a year ago, and his current owner can no longer care for him. So we took Roscoe in to rescue! He is ready for his true forever home!
Roscoe is a sturdy 60 lbs., 5 years old, neutered, fully vetted, and HW negative! He LOVES people, and when introduced properly and slowly, will do fine with other medium to large sized dogs. However, it's probably best to not have him around small dogs. He does fine with children 10 and older, and also does well with cats. He knows such commands as "sit", "stay" and "no". When necessary, he's a very good watch dog, but once he knows his people are safe, he is fine with visitors, and LOVES to make new human friends. He's crate trained, and also loves hanging with his people and watching TV!

*All Take Paws Rescue dogs are saved from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana. All of our dogs are healthy, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm preventative. They live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. Many have basic obedience skills and all have been temperament tested. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
